What is the EMF level?

What is the optimal distance and treatment time?

For effective red light therapy, position yourself 15 to 50 centimeters away from the light source. Each treatment session should last between 10 and 20 minutes. Closer proximity results in higher irradiance, allowing for shorter treatment times. Conversely, increasing the distance decreases irradiance, requiring longer treatment times. Adjust the distance based on the treatment area and your individual response.

What is beam angle and why is it important?

Beam angle affects how light intensity decreases with distance. A wide beam angle (e.g., 90 degrees) causes light to scatter rapidly, reducing power density at a distance, which is less ideal for therapeutic purposes. Conversely, a narrow beam angle (e.g., 30 degrees) can result in discomfort and potential safety issues due to concentrated light intensity. Should I use red and near-infrared light together or separately?

Red and near-infrared light are often used together as they can synergistically enhance overall effects. However, they can also be used individually depending on the desired outcome. For nighttime therapy, near-infrared light is preferable as it lacks the stimulating effects of visible red light, making it more suitable for nighttime use.

Can I use the lights in a sauna?

We generally do not recommend using our lights in any type of sauna environment as frequent exposure to high heat and humidity can shorten the lifespan of the LEDs.
